St. Joseph's Convent School celebrated India’s 74th Republic day with great éclat. The students took pride in glorifying and celebrating the spirit of unity. The chief guest Rev.Fr. Edwin Jagadeesh the Rector of St. Joseph's College in kauli hoisted the flag, Rev Fr. Sunil the manager, Rev Sr Elsita the Principal, Staff, school prefets, students and supporting staff saluted the national flag, and pledged to uphold the honour and integrity.
The students brought the stage alive with their passion and love of the motherland through their speech. Teachers and students enthusiastically presented patriotic songs.
The school auditorium reverberated with patriotic favor and enthusiasm by a special dance performances by students.
The chief guest Rev Fr Edwin Jagadish enlightened the students with the significance of the day and urged them to do their best and feel proud to be Indian.
The students dispersed after sweets with the image of the fluttering tricolor in their mind and heart. May we continue celebrating this day forever! Long live India, Long live democracy!
