Description:
From darkness to the light that empowers us to commit ourselves to good deeds, that which brings us closer to divinity; lights illuminate every corner of India during Diwali.
The year Diwali, 'The festival of lights' came alive at St Joseph's convent school when the toddlers of kindergarten under the guidance of their teachers came up with the inspiring concept of celebrating HEALTHY DIWALI. Fresh green fruits and vegetables were garnished and served as a salad with the message of celebrating healthy and green Diwali. Teachers talked about the significance of the festival - how good always conquered the evil and also about why and how Diwali is celebrated across India. Besides sensitizing students to the ill-effects of crackers, they also shared the guidelines on being safe while bursting them. The students showcased the spirit of Diwali through making Rangoli with beautiful colors. At the end, Sr. Principal wished Happy Diwali on behalf of Management and staff to the entire members of school. Celebrating the festivities of Diwali the Tiny tots of PRE - PRIMARY decorated the symbol of light - "DIYAS" with their beautiful little hands .
They used water colour, decorative material, and different other things to do the same they even utilized their imagination for it
